Adding per note expression to Reaktor Ensembles

Hi,
Recently Ive been exploring how to use virtual modular synths to create expressive synths for the soundplane (and also the Eigenharp), these video show how to do create a synth using Max7, for use either standalone or with Ableton Live.
if you enjoy, let me know.. and I could cover some more advanced concepts (e.g voice muting, using with VpC midi)
EnjoyÂ
Mark
Note: I show in the video how to connect using OSC Â T3D as this is my preferred method, and you can use my t3d output agent to connect to this… but you can easily adapt to voice per channel midi.

Max : BEAP modular –Â So I’ve worked it out !!
I now am able to build polyphonic BEAP based synths with VpC  AND get them to run in Ableton as Max4Live, and they even have Push support 🙂 (oh, and multicore too :))Â
Im pleased, as BEAP is a really good platform…
(this was last on my list, i can now build VpC synths in Reaktor, Oscillot and Max/Beap… Â why? because they all sound different due to their implementations of OSC/filters etc)
I’ll do a video soon 🙂
Hello, not an Eigenharp owner yet, but I have decided to go cold turkey on new eurorack modules until I can afford a Tau.
I work as a software developer and am an amateur musician that makes electronic music together with my wife as “Tic Tic”. I’ve been fascinated by the Eigenharps for a while already and can’t wait to get my hands on one. But until my saving account has grown plump I’m just lurking here and finding my way around in eigenD and the source code.
Hopefully I’ll be able to do modest contributions to the eigenD development somewhere down the line, but for the time being, just getting up to speed on how everything works is more than enough to keep me busy. 🙂

Oscillot – this is fun 🙂  (Max4Live/Ableton)
So, Ive created my own Oscillot object, so I can have VpC goodness in a virtual modular with Ableton 🙂Â
of course, as its OSC based, it avoids the Ableton single channel midi nonsense…  and because its T3D based, you can also use it with my EigenD Soundplane agent on your Eigenharp 🙂
Mutable Instruments Grids ported to M4L.
this is quite interesting…
Ive been considering doing the same for EigenD, for a few of the MI modules, which are all open source, as EigenD with its wiring etc really does lend itself to this.Â
(careful consideration of course required for the UI aspects)
Unfortunately at the moment, Im busy with Axoloti, but my turn to it later (oh so many things to try!)…
but if someone else wants to have a go, Id be happy to help on the EigenD front.

Trying to build EigenD from github today on a different machine to the one I’ve developed on before. I’m getting the following error and was wondering if anyone else has seen this??

Madrona Labs – VirtaÂ
I know a few of us here, love ML synths,
so a ‘tasty morsel’ from  Randy @ ML, (forums) on the next ML synth.
“Virta is a patchable sound-controlled synth. It still has MIDI and OSC input but can also be controlled by your voice or another instrument using its pitch to signal converter. Something like a Korg x911, with a patchable vocoder and some other goodies.
Musically it’s got a distinct personality from Aalto or Kaivo. It loves to lead you into the uncanny valley.”
only a small tease, but I’m sure will be an interesting as Kaivo/Aalto 🙂
Good to be in control and in the process have a new instrument to play with.
So, take Aalto and its amazing, ever evolving, noodling patches – what to to with them ?
Strip controller for volume crossfade between 4 Aalto instances (one in each horizontal row) add midi program change, T3D control… Ohhhh wackiness. Â
Forget notes, scales bahhhh (ok just spread all C note octaves across 9 keys)
agents from Mark HarrisÂ
latest midi program chooser, midi monitor, t3d output
Refining and having a great time, at some point move this concept to the Alpha 5 columns (5 instances)-perc keys as some more control?
