Reaktor 6 – MPE/T3D OSC blocks 🙂 

Ive been enjoying R6, so thought Id add to the growing number of user blocks out there… and what would l add ?

MPE and T3D support of course… they are now in the user library, both support up to 8 voices.

just an initial version,  I may add more features depending how much I use them.

Its been a real blast playing with these with the Soundplane and Eigenharp.

Hello all, I am not an Eigenharp owner yet but recently found out about the marvelous instrument and would like to find out more.  I am a software engineer and musician and have been composing digital music for many years.  Having the opportunity to interactively perform the digital music via the Eigenharp is very exciting to me.  I look forward to getting to know all of you and make a final decision on the purchase of one of the Eigenharps.

So Strobe 2 has been released with ‘multi dimensional control’ … no not MPE, VpC, with  PB/ CC 1 or 4 and Channel/Poly Pressure.

Pretty expensive (179 euro!) but seems a pretty comprehensive synth.

But I can NOT recommend it at the moment (been using demo)

a) Pitchbend and Pressure don’t appear to be working in MDC mode

b) Menus don’t work in VEP5 (ok, in LPX)

other slight limitation PB range only to +/-24 semis, and pity not MPE compatible.

and i found this all in 5 minutes, so appears a little buggy.

Ive reported the issues, hopefully they will get them sorted out, nice to have more choice for VpC synths.

EigenD question: I want to have an on/off switch on a key, that generates a gate into my modular.

EigenD question: I want to have an on/off switch on a key, that generates a gate into my modular. ON=gate high, OFF=gate low. Anyone (Geert Bevin?) ideas as to how to achieve this? 

Does the Latch agent work this way? I have Expert Sleepers & ES-3 if that helps. 

Objective here is to have the option of running sound from EigenD through a MI Clouds and be able to trigger the Freeze from my Alpha.

I’ve just looked at the midi output in poly mode and noticed channels didn’t get selected the way I was expecting.

I’ve just looked at the midi output in poly mode and noticed channels didn’t get selected the way I was expecting. Example:

Channel range 1-3 and a note sustained on channel 1. I then play some staccato notes. The first gets channel 2, the next 3. So far so good. But then I’d expect channel 2 to be selected next as this is now the oldest, unused channel. Instead I get channel 1, which is already in use.

Is this behaviour intended? I’m on the community release, btw.

I’m no Linux person, but I’ve been messing with a Raspberry Pi 2 for a couple of days now. Lots of fun! Naturally I tried to get EigenPi running on it (I have yet to receive my Tau, but still, no harm in being prepared). My SD Card is being picky with OSes, Raspbian being one of few that works. But I’m guessing that isn’t what I should use for EigenPi as it is telling me I have the wrong version of libstdc++6. So before I go buy a new card, which OS should I use for it?
