Wondering if anyone has run into this issue – I’ve been using Jack with OS X to route audio from EigenD to Ableton Live and today it stopped working. I can still see JackRouter in the EigenD audio settings, but when I select it the buffer and sampling rate fields are blank, and it doesn’t work. Jack is still working normally for Live. So far I’ve tried reinstalling Jack and EigenD to no avail.

Someone pointed this out on the madronalabs forum, and its excellent.
Its a set of ensembles for the continuum, but will work equally well for the Eigenharp (or Soundplane).
For the ‘adventurous’ it also provides some good examples of how to do voice per channel in your own reaktor synths (or adapting others).
Kaivo and Aalto 50% off – too bad I already own both :)

The synths I use most with the eigenharp, when I just want to have fun with sound and expression. I find them very different/unique.
remember: to try my soundplane agent with them to use them with osc.
(an update is coming, that will enable VpC midi too)
not on commission 🙂 I just really appreciate the work Randy does over at ML, and love these synths.
(btw, there are demos, so you can try out)

Hi, my name is Joao dos Santos aka astronota.
Hi, my name is Joao dos Santos aka astronota. I’m from Porto, Portugal. I have a Pico since 2010. However because of work reasons never got the time to use it properly, until now!
This is a great instrument and I’ll have some questions as soon as things will get complicated.
Pleasure to meet you all, cheers!
I’m looking for people that want to do recitals on their instruments locally about once a month.
I’m looking for people that want to do recitals on their instruments locally about once a month. I’ve recently decided that my amateur status needs a notch up. I’ve been playing for 48 years and I’m going to start playing more publicly. I want to do guitar concerts, not bars or restaurants. I want to be heard in my small town very close to Raleigh NC. I’m a Java software professional and I’m going to do an AppFuse web application on strong servers as something similar to CraigsList for musicians and listeners to use locally. This app will be hosted on clustered servers and provide free basic accounts to build a community locally and set up recitals, concerts, shows. These performances could be held in someone’s home, church, civic league building, anywhere really. The community on the application around the zipcode key could work together to bring about the event. I will try to fund the initial development and hosting for the first year using KickStarter. If anyone would be interested in this for any reason, please let me know. I firmly believe that there are many other amateur musicians out there, that may not be taking Suzuki lessons but would like to play regularly in their hometown.

Hi, I’m Christophe Duquesne, from France
Hi, I’m Christophe Duquesne, from France
I’m new here, and not (yet?) a Eigenharp owner. But I’m a Haken Continuum player (and also doing sound design for the Eagan Matrix). I’m also an app developper of SpringSound, a physical modeling synth with special features for the Continuum (https://itunes.apple.com/app/springsound/id866583243 and http://www.anckorage.com/spring-sound/).
I have jus installed EingenD with the help from Mark (who has provided support and a dedicated agent). I now have to investigate how all this can work together ! I’m sure bringing clother Continuum and Eigenharp worlds will be fruitful for both and very rewarding.
It’s a pleasure to meet you all in this group.

Poly Midi bug
Poly Midi bug
===========
been playing with ppg wavemapper quite a bit lately, and despite a few early issues, its actually really good, and quite low cpu for a voice per channel synth 🙂
however, I’ve just tripped up on a bug in the poly midi (i think both midi and au agents affected).
if you make the agent use poly channel and then create pressure and yaw mappings to a CC, but ‘forget’ to change in that mapping from ‘global’ to ‘per note’ you will get hung notes (very quickly!)
on reflection, I suspect (but not checked yet) its probably pressure
= global, midi channel = poly is the issue.
note: i tested channel = poly breath = global and that works fine, hence the suspicion that ‘pressure’ is being dealt with perhaps differently!?
ive tested in current 2.1 (from github) and 2.0.74 and exists in both.
I confirmed not only by hearing , but also recording all notes in ableton and can see it is eigenD not the plugin.
could someone else test, just to confirm.
p.s. I think if channel=poly, then key inputs, yaw/roll/pressure probably should be defaulting to per note, its usually what you want.
Finally, got to a stage where I think I can say I don’t have audio dropouts. so thought Id make a list of what I did.

I’m going to have to sell my Pico.
I’m going to have to sell my Pico. It’s silver and in perfect working order, but I just don’t have time for it and it could have a far better home. Plus then I could spend the money on instruments I do use…
Located in the UK. Anyone interested before I post it more widely?
